Tim Butler
for State Representative

Springfield is broken. After decades of corruption, Tim is working to create jobs, grow businesses, and make Illinois a better environment to start a business and raise a family.

Representative Tim Butler (R-Springfield) joined the Illinois House of Representatives on March 3, 2015. Butler, a native of Peoria, is the fourth-great grandson of Lewis Barker, a State Senator from Pope County during the early days. Husband, EIU grad, Peoria-born youngest of 7 kids. Representing IL87 and Abe's Hometown in the Illinois House. #ExploreThe87th

The Battle of Gettysburg began OTD in 1863.

"It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve... that these dead shall not have died in vain" --A. Lincoln

Endorsements mean so much!

It is an honor to be endorsed by so many people and organizations in our efforts to win election to the #New95th District! Thank you to all who have supported me throughout this campaign. Here are just a handful of folks who have endorsed us in this campaign! ...

Tomorrow, June 28, is Primary Election Day. Please #GetOutTheVote!

Winning campaigns knock doors...lots of doors... especially on the final weekend of a campaign.

We've been blessed to team with Rodney Davis and State Representative Avery Bourne to knock thousands of doors across the #New95th and the response from voters has been tremendous.
Thank you to all the folks who came out today to support us on this last Saturday before the primary on Tuesday, June 28. What a tremendous show of support.

Thank you to my friends State Senator Sally Turner and Chris Bos for IL State Representative 51st Dist for hitting the pavement with me on Springfield's Northend today!
Please don't forget to vote in the Republican Primary next Tuesday, June 28.

Thank you Illinois Farm Bureau ACTIVATOR for the endorsement!
I know that agriculture drives the economy here in Illinois and I'm proud to be a champion for you at the State House!

During this campaign we have knocked on thousands of doors across the #New95th and now we are down to the final days!

Join myself and Rodney Davis as we Get Out The Vote this last weekend of the campaign. Meet at our campaign office (615 W. Jefferson) this Saturday at 9:00 am to hear the ...latest on our campaigns and then head out to directly engage voters throughout our area!

Representing this area means looking out for the important tourism interests here, and I'm a vocal advocate for what it means to our economy.

Tonight I attended the weekly flag lowering ceremony at Lincoln's Tomb. Thanks to the great work by the 114th Illinois Volunteer ...Infantry for putting this on throughout the summer. It is a great draw for our community.

Tonight underscored the importance of tourism to our area. The couple receiving the flag which was lowered tonight (a tradition) were from Hibbing, MN and visiting Springfield for the first time. They plan to give this flag to their son who has served three tours of duty in Afghanistan. What a great night and what a great story.

It is the home stretch leading up to Election Day. Don't be surprised if you hear and see a lot of crazy stuff from some candidates this last week (even more than you've seen so far)!

There is a real difference in this race for the #New95th.
I approach this job with ...honesty and integrity to get things done for people. That's how I live my life and that's what I'll always do.

I humbly ask for your vote in the Tuesday, June 28 Republican Primary.
