Tim Butler
for State Representative

Springfield is broken. After decades of corruption, Tim is working to create jobs, grow businesses, and make Illinois a better environment to start a business and raise a family.

Representative Tim Butler (R-Springfield) joined the Illinois House of Representatives on March 3, 2015. Butler, a native of Peoria, is the fourth-great grandson of Lewis Barker, a State Senator from Pope County during the early days. Husband, EIU grad, Peoria-born youngest of 7 kids. Representing IL87 and Abe's Hometown in the Illinois House. #ExploreThe87th

Great to be with State Representative Sandy Hamilton and Mike Murphy at today's Sangamon Mass Transit District + Greyhound Bus announcement!

Hey Springfield: happy Flag Day!

OTD in 1917, the Springfield City Council approved a design by S.T. Wallace submitted to a Springfield Art Association contest conceived by Vachel Lindsay.

The simple, classic, iconic design remains our city's banner today.

Fly it... proudly;

Another milestone in our community's transformative infrastructure project, the 10th Street Rail Consolidation. This project unites Springfield, eases rail and auto congestion, eliminates dangerous rail crossings, creates an important new intermodal transportation hub, and will eventually ...lead to redevelopment of the 3rd Street corridor. It is the main reason I supported the 2019 Rebuild Illinois capital bill.

On Wednesday we officially cut the ribbon for the segment of the project which put in new bridges over both 5th and 6th streets south of downtown. The entire project is a model for our nation and it continues to be on the timeline for completion in 2025.

What he (State Rep Mark Batinick) said👇

Proud to rep a district that is the home of the greatest area of pumpkin production on earth!

I am a big fan of NASCAR and Kevin Harvick, and even more so after seeing this paint scheme for the regular season finale tonight at Daytona International Speedway. Nice work by Stewart-Haas Racing to feature the most storied road in the world, Route 66. And great to see some iconic Illinois ...Route 66 Scenic Byway kitsch in this promo!
